A Few Praises/Updates:

  • Hanging out at Walmart!

You may remember a few posts back when you prayed for Adama…the lady with the swelling in her face, we are happy to share that she is doing well.  A few days before we left Sierra Leone we were told Adama returned back to her hometown.  We purchased some medicine for her, which was effective in addition to all the prayers for the swelling to subside.  It was reported to us that she is not having any more pain at this time!  Please continue to pray for all of the patients who come to the clinic and will not be able to be seen because we are here.  Pray that God will provide healing for them and that they will be able to go and see our nurses working in the city.

  • I’m rocking on my knees!

I, (Sada), have been applying for part time nursing jobs this past week.  It has been a whirlwind trying to get re-certified in CPR, ACLS and the like, but God has made a way every time.  I am excited and nervous at the same time to step back into the hospital after being overseas for so long.  Please pray with us that God would provide a great job for me that will help take care of our family in this time of transition.

  • Check out my Batman Boots!!!

We have been seeking what is best for the treatment of Gabe’s back and have found that we can try some physical therapy and a steroid injection.  Please pray with us as Gabe starts physical therapy next week, and in two weeks on October 2nd has his first injection.  Pray that there would be relief.  Pray for healing for the pain in his back.  If it is not relieved in this way, then we will have to continue with surgery, however we will wait 4-6 weeks for the therapy and injection to have time to be effective.
